Mapimo Vocational & Training Center is one of our flagship empowerment hubs offering Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for young women from underserved communities. This center equips students with in-demand skills that enhance their employability or help them establish their own businesses.

Fashion Design & Garment Making
This course provides a comprehensive foundation in the art and science of fashion. Students learn the fundamentals of clothing construction, tailoring, cutting, sewing, pattern making, and garment fitting. Creativity is encouraged through modules in fashion illustration and design, enabling students to bring their own styles to life.

Food Production Technology
This course is designed to prepare students for success in the dynamic hospitality and catering industry. It covers the principles of food production, including meal planning, kitchen safety, hygiene standards, nutrition, and modern cooking techniques. Students gain hands-on experience in preparing a wide variety of local and international dishes.

Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy
In this course, students receive in-depth training in both the theory and practice of beauty and personal care. The curriculum includes hair cutting, styling, braiding, coloring, skincare routines, manicure and pedicure, and professional grooming. Wellness and client communication skills are also emphasized.
